After a lot of internet search I have found Castle Kanota in Rajasthan, Jaipur City. I have visited to Castle Kanota with
my family and enjoyed alot. The heritage feeling vibe me to the old history of Jaipur. The Rooms and suites are
crystal cleaned and the room services are offered without ringing. We have also visited the other property of Kanota
like Narain Niwas including Palladio & Shikaar Bagh for evening.
We only had one night here and would have liked to stay two. The home-cooked meals were lovely and the whole place had a great ambience with a fire pit outside in the Courtyard upstairs before dinner and the most amazing and lavish rooms. It was so nice to have a bath. The history of this heritage hotel was fascinating and the surrounding township was so different to the hustle and bustle of the Jaipur city. The local people were friendly and not touting for business and we had a fascinating walk around the village - even being invited into a home. This is a great place to stay.
This hotel was booked by a tour I was on and was my favorite heritage hotel of the trip. It’s stunning and unique with beautiful grounds, interesting history (there’s a museum onsite!) and every room is different. Fit for a King or Queen! I wish we had longer to stay than just one night. For as charming as this former palace is, there were some downsides. There is no heat and if you’re staying here during the winter it’s freezing at night! The beds are hard as rocks, I woke up the next day sore and stiff. At dinner you have to buy bottled water. Drinks are available to purchase but at almost NYC prices! We also lost power twice during our 24 hour stay (but it was quickly resolved) and other guests complained they couldn’t get hot water. Also, the pool needed to be cleaned but maybe that’s because it was January. Overall I loved staying here and it was a unique experience to stay at a castle!
Stayed as part of a tour group. This property is like stepping into a movie set. It has real old world charm. From the chaos outside to these tranquil gardens. Check in is a little slow, seems everything is paper-based, no computers. Loved it. The rooms themself are amazing. All a little different. My room was large and comfortable. The wifi and AC worked well. The grounds are fantastic. You can walk almost all the way around the "castle" walls. The food was also great as was the service. All in all an amazing spot to just stop and catch your breath before you enter the fray again.
Love, love, loved this hotel ! I chose our Perigrine holiday because we got to spend a night here. It was everything I hoped for. Huge suite with seperate lounge. A bathroom as big as the bedroom and all the charm you would expect.
